Dr. Michael Anthony grew up outside Washington, DC and graduated with honors from Dartmouth College. He attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania graduating in 2004 and has remained in the South Jersey area ever since. After practicing general medicine and performing surgery, and later emergency work, he decided to expand his tool bag and began exploring alternative and holistic medicines and treatments. This exploration led him to the Chi Institute where he took over 200 hours of continuing education in small animal acupuncture. Dr. Anthony became certified in 2013 and has since been using acupuncture successfully to treat a number of different conditions. In 2014, he joined Dr. Judy Morgan and her team and continues to hone his skills in acupuncture, holistic and herbal medicine, and homeopathy. He also hopes to continue using integrative medicine to provide the best possible care for the pet population of South Jersey.
In his spare time, Dr. Anthony shares time with his two young sons and enjoys helping them to develop their own passions (currently they are both on a football kick—although that will probably change quickly). His pastimes include reading, horror movies, yoga, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with his Pomeranian and four cats that have fallen into his lap throughout his career.
